Summer of 2011!

Summer of 2011 is coming to an end, a SWEET END :-)
It's been such a wonderful summer...YES I know it's also been the hottest summer since 1980! I've been busy with school this summer semester and working so sorry for the delay in updating blog. Below are a few pics from our summer.

Mommy-to-be helped too :-)

Our "Kapua" suite :-)

Happy Daddy's Day! Surprised Eric with a DRUM SET! I made the poster for him, and I also tried to put the drums together myself...not smart.

Good thing Cousin Jordan came to the resue!

30 weeks

10 more weeks (or less) left till Sofia is here!
We can't wait to see her!
It's been fun feeling her kicks and movements get stronger. I smile really BIG when I'm in office meetings or in class at night and she's moving around. Hopefully we'll get a sneak peak at her little face on August 29th! 3-D ultra-sound.
I'm finally done with Summer school!!! The Fall semester starts August 22nd, so I'll be pretty busy working on her nursery and updating Blog with pics!

Diaper Cake...not hard at all :-)

I thought it would be fun to make a diaper cake! So with Eric's upcoming birthday party, I thought I would make one for him, Daddy's Girl diaper cake. Tricia (my M.I.L.) was happy to help and we both did some shopping. Below are a couple of things I couldn't resist and just had to buy. Then there are some pics of our Diaper Cake! We're not done, this was just day 1.
"Bling bling
Everytime I come around yo city
Bling bling
Pacifier worth about fifty
Bling bling"
LOL! Too cute of a pacifier to pass up!
Pink Converse for babies!!! Yay! Couldn't resist!
Here it is, 66 diapers rolled up and stacked like a cake! Thanks Nonna and Tia Ashley!

50% done.

This was such a fun project! Not hard at all! If you want to make one, just ask me or look up "How to make Diaper cakes?" on good ole' youtube.com

26 weeks, 14 more to go!

Sofia's grown so much!
